The existing Poo Poo Point Trail begins at the end of the High School Trail and does not provide a very direct access to Poo Poo Point! The purpose of this exploration to see if we can find a route that is buildable and more efficient in reaching the launch site and taking advantage of the abundance of parking at Issaquah High School on weekends.

Hike up the steep and rough, volunteer built Zig Zag Trail and unmaintained old roads to visit a logging artifact high on the Cedar River Divide. There will be views of the peaks along the I-90 Corridor enroute. The map for the day is the Green Trails Mount Si NRCA #206S. 50 mile roundtrip drive to the trailhead. We'll hike on the Bird Box and re-routed, but not completed, Dirty Harry's Peak Trail to visit a logging relic. The trail will be combination of old rough boot trail and new well-built trail with the last ¼ mile being a combination of a short, wet cross country brush bash finishing with a rocky & eroded old road.
