DUE TO EXTREME HEAT ADVISORY, THIS HIKE HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED TO AUGUST 30
Join Kelly Jiang, IATC Board Member, on a special evening hike up Cougar Mountain to capture Issaquah’s beautiful nature via watercolor. This hike will start from the Talus neighborhood up to the Million Dollar View pergola on Cougar. At the top, the group will take a break to do some nature-themed watercolor - so keep your eyes out for cool plants, and take pictures of some you might want to paint!
Registration required; space is limited.
Supplies: Watercolor supplies (brushes, paints, paper) if you have some that you prefer for yourself - otherwise, basics will be provided!
Trailhead: Talus Bridge Trailhead near the intersections of NW Stoney Creek Dr. and and NW Alpine Crest Way. There is street parking across from the trailhead in the "Bridges" neighborhood.
Distance: 3.5 miles
Ascent: 900 ft.
Time: 3 hours
